Sydney Bembry
Sydney Bembry is from Sacramento, California and studies Television and Film Production at St. John’s University. Inspired by her theater production background in high school, Sydney hopes to build a career in the film industry, one day writing and directing her own films. Sydney treasures this experience and the opportunity it grants her to gain broader cinematic knowledge and connect with her fellow young, aspiring filmmakers and critics.
Sydney is most interested in narrative films and some of her favorite movies include Like Crazy and Love & Basketball. She is inspired by the demand for more female filmmakers and, as an intern at Night Spark Pictures, is thrilled to learn from a fellow woman in film who's achieving her dream.
